Promoter News
Leadership Banquet: Thursday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. If you hold a leadership position in the church and have not received an invitation to the banquet, please call the church office 288-3824 and make your reservation by Monday, April 21.
National Day of Prayer: The Chapel will be open to stop by and pray for our nation on Thursday, May 1 from 11:30-1:30 p.m. Prayer guides will be available. From 12:30-12:45 p.m. there will be a corporate time of prayer. The theme this year is "Prayer: America's Strength and Shield."
Preschool/Children
Parent/Child Dedication: Sunday, May 25 during both morning services. Babies as well as older children can be dedicated at this time. If you desire to participate, please contact Carol McKinney at 288-3824 ext. 303. Please turn in your information to Carol by May 12.
Activities
Family Whitewater Rafting Trip:
August 1-3, Nantahala River, NC. This trip includes 2 nights camping, 2 breakfasts, 1 dinner and rafting. Ages 7 and up are eligible. The cost is $60 per adult and $$30 per child. A $25 deposit is due on or before Sunday, June 29. Registration forms are available outside Jimmy's office or in the church office.
