JourneyMen Fall Football Kick-Off Event: Our 2nd annual fall football kick-off event will be held on Thursday, August 20th at 6:30pm in the CLC. Local high school football teams will be our guests at a spaghetti dinner, complete with homemade desserts. Pat Teague, former NC State linebacker and member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be our guest speaker. If you are interested in attending, please call the church office at 288-3824.

Johnny M. Hunt Men's Conference: "Triple Play-The Trilogy of Men's Struggles," will be on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd at Green Street Baptist Church (303 N. Rotary Drive, High Point). Johnny is the pastor of First Baptist Woodstock. His conference will address three areas in which men struggle with and must remain vigilant: money, sex, and pride. $59 registration fee includes Friday night steak dinner, snacks, workbook and CD's of the sessions ($49 before September 1st). Operation Christmas Child Trip: Reserve November 30-December 2 on your calendar to assist in processing shoe box gifts for OCC. We will travel to Boone on Sunday afternoon and are limited to 25 people. Make your reservations by submitting a check for $25/person to the financial office in an envelope marked "Boone Mission Trip, Operation Christmas Child, November 30-December 2." Your only cost will be a discount hotel and some meals.
