- September 26: Todd & Laura's Wedding! Todd and Laura have extended an invitation to our LJG. The wedding is Saturday, September 26th at 4pm at the Tanglewood Park Arboretum (4061 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC). A reception will follow the service in the Ballroom.
- October 17: Baby shower honoring Priscilla and Billy Martin. More details and sign-up sheet coming soon!

Children
Parent/Child Dedication: Will be on Sunday, October 4th during both morning services. Letters have been sent to parents who have a new baby. Registration and requested information is due back to the church office no later than Friday, September 25th. If you did not receive the information and desire to participate, please call Carol McKinney in the church office at 288-3824.
Children's Bible Drill: Children in 4th-6th grades meet Sundays from 6:15-7:15pm in Room 163. A parent is asked to attend the last fifteen minutes of each session from 7:00pm-7:15pm.
Married Adults
Pre-Marriage/Newly Married Class: Is scheduled for 7 Wednesday nights from 7:00pm-8:00pm, beginning on October 7th. Register with Jennifer Wilson in the church office at 288-3824 by September 30th.
Operation Outreach: Sunday, October 4th at 4:00pm. Gather in Room 216 for assignments.
Additional Announcements
Mission Friends Service Project: The Mission Friends are collecting baby items to fill diaper bags for the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center for those in need. Please bring baby lotion, burp cloths, diapers, wipes, etc. to the bin in the collection area on the lower level by the snack machines. Bags will be packed on September 30th to be donated to the GPCC.
Operation Christmas Child Trip: Reserve November 30th-December 2nd on your calendar to assist in processing shoebox gifts for OCC. We will travel to Boone on Sunday afternoon and are limited to 25 people. Make your reservations by submitting a check for $25/person to the financial office in an envelope marked "Boone Mission Trip, OCC, November 30-December2." Your only cost will be a discount hotel and some meals.
Greensboro Life Chain 2009: On Sunday, October 4th from 2:30-3:30pm, the Greensboro Life Chain 2009 will form along Battleground Avenue. For more information, call Polly Dodson at 375-5395. The National Life Chain is the largest, peaceful, prayerful, pro-life, public witness in the world. More than 1300 cities across the U.S. and Canada are expected to participate this year.
Johnny M. Hunt Men's Conference: "Triple Play-The Trilogy of Men's Struggles," will be on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday October 3rd at Green Street Baptist Church (303 N. Rotary Drive, High Point, 27262). $59 registration fee includes Friday night steak dinner, snacks, workbook and CD's of sessions. Register online at www.greenstreet.org. Billy Graham Rapid Response Team- Sharing Hope in Crisis Seminar: Saturday, October 17th at Westover Church. Registration fee is $25 and includes all materials and a box lunch.
