Offering envelopes are available in the South Wing hallway in front of the elevator until Sunday, January 24th. After that time, envelopes may be picked up in the church office during regular office hours.
Preschool/Children
LifePlus Parenting Seminar: "Parents Guiding Children in Biblical Principles of Sexuality" is a 5-week class meeting on Sundays at 5pm in room 363. In this course, we are reviewing excellent material for various age groups of children beginning with 3-5 year olds.
Students
411: Sundays at 6:15pm (Middle School meets in Room 310).
Fusion: Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the CLC.
Middle School Laser Tag: On Saturday, January 16th, we will meet at Lazer X of Greensboro from 1:00pm-3:00pm. For more information, contact your LJG teacher.
Super Bowl Party: Sunday, February 7th from 5:30pm-12:00am in the CLC. Cost is $7 and 1 can of soup for our food pantry.
Boot Camp Weekend: "Prepare for the Mission" will be held the weekend of March 19th-21st. Cost is $85 per student, and registration begins on Sunday, January 31st in the church lobby.
Music
"When Love Came Down" DVD & Ornament: We will be selling DVD's for our 2009 Greensboro Christmas Spectacular "When Love Came Down!" We will be taking preorders for the DVD's. They are $7 each. We also have ornaments available for $3 each. You may purchase these items in the church lobby or office.
Choir & Orchestra: 3s (room 146), 4s (room 148), Kindergarten (room 150); 1st-5th grade (Fellowship Hall), Middle school (room 310), and High school (room 311) meet on Sundays at 5pm. Adult Choir (room 311) and orchestra (room 318) meet on Wednesdays at 6:45pm.
Married Adults
LifePlus Marriage Basics: This is a 7 week class covering the material from Marriage 101 and 102. Class meets on Sunday evenings from 5-6pm. You may sign up in the church lobby.
Nearly/Newly Married Class: If you are considering marriage, planning on getting married or recently married, you will be interested in this class. Beginning on Wednesday, January 20th, we will have a 7 week class meeting from 7-8pm. We will be using a workbook called "Preparing for marriage," by Dennis Rainey. If you'd like to sign-up, call the church office at 288-3824.
Activities
Valentine's Banquet: Tickets for the 2010 Valentine's Banquet are now available for purchase. The date of the event is Sunday, February 14th at 6:15pm in the CLC. Adult ticket cost is $8, children $2 and can be purchased from Jimmy Jackson. "Acts of Renewal" the husband and wife team, Jim and Carol Shore, will entertain the adults at the banquet with fun, enriching family theatrical performances and children will be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall to see a Christian magician. Additional Announcements
Parents and caregivers of all ages are encouraged to attend! On Saturday, February 20th, LBC will sponsor the "Turning Hearts" Conference. THis is an all day event from 9:00am-4:00pm. During the conference, parents will be compelled to reestablish heart connections between each other and with God. Best of all, families will discover God's plan for their family through His Word. You may register in the church lobby or on our website, www.lawndalebaptist.org.

Weekday Preschool Registration: Registration for the 2010-2011 school year will begin at 9am on Monday, February 1st and continue through Friday, February 5th. Because some of the age groups have limited enrollment and registration is taken on a first-served basis, it is advised that you register early. You may come by Ann Johnson's office after Monday, January 25th to pick up your registration form or call 282-4177 for more information.
