Class News
  • The title of next week's lesson is Look Up to Heaven. The background passage for Sunday is Philippians 3:1-21. The lesson passages for Sunday are Philippians 3:1, 7-21. Before Sunday, please take a moment to prayerfully read through the passage to prepare for the lesson.
  • Congratulations to Rob & Cheryl Jones and Matt & Dahlia Crater on becoming members at Lawndale!
  • Women's Bible Study: Will meet Monday, April 4th, at Priscilla's house (6709 Poplar Grove Trail) at 6:30pm. Please complete week 5 in the Breaking Free workbook before the meeting.
  • Class Lunch: Due to the Parent/Child Dedication the first Sunday in April, our class will go out to lunch the 2nd Sunday of April (April 10th). If the weather is nice, we will have a picnic at Bur-Mil Park.
  • April 16th: Easter Egg Hunt & Cookout at the Holbrook's house! More details to come!

Children
VBS Registration: Begins April 3 online and in the Worship Center Lobby.
Helping Children Understand Salvation and Baptism: Practical Guidance for Parents: Is there one plan of salvation for children and another for adults? Does Baptism "wash your sins away?" When can a child become a Christian? What is the age of accountability? When are children under God's Grace? All these questions will be considered in this helpful two-session course for parents. March 27 and April 3, 5pm, Room 322.

VBS Help Needed: We have Lead Teachers but need Assistant Teachers. Volunteer Forms are located at the Welcome Desk.

Students
411: Meets Sundays at 6:15-7:15pm. High School- Chapel; Middle School- Room 361.
Fusion: Meets Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Chapel.

Additional Announcements
Easter Flowers: Give an Easter Lily or Hydrangea in memory or honor of a loved one. Envelopes are available at the welcome desk. Plants are $13 each and the deadline to order is April 15. Please indicate "lily" or "hydrangea" on the envelope.
Easter Schedule (April 24): Join us for a Sunrise Service at Country Park at 6:30am followed by a light breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 7:15am. No Adult LJGs will meet, only LJG/ETC for babies - 4s will meet. There will be identical Worship Services at 9am and 10:30am. No PM service/activities will take place.
Operation Christmas Child- Year Round: Our highlighted items for April: Paper, coloring books and coloring materials (crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencils, etc.)
Share the Change: Pick up a baby bottle today in the main lobby. Fill it with coins (no pennies), cash or check (written to GPCC) and return it by Mother's Day, May 8. All proceeds will benefit the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center.
