Class News
  • The title of this coming Sunday's lesson is Be Honest and Fair. The background passage is Deuteronomy 16:18-26:19. The lesson passages are Deuteronomy 16:18-20; 19:14-20; 25:13-16. Before Sunday, please take a moment to prayerfully read through the passages to prepare for the lesson.
  • Happy (Belated) Birthday to Monica, on Wednesday, February 8th!

Children's Ministry
Weekday Preschool Registration:
  • 2012-2013 School Year
  • 9am on Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th.
  • Forms outside Ann Johnson's office on Wednesday, February 1st. If you need more information, call 282-4177.
"Amazing Wonders" VBS 2012:
  • June 25-29, 9am-12 noon.
  • Registration begins the 1st week of April.
  • Lead Staff Luncheon - January 29th, Noon, CLC.
Operation Christmas Child February Collection:
  • Suggested Items: Hats, gloves, scarves, small toys, picture books and puzzles.
  • Please leave in the bin at the Collection Center on the 1st floor.

Activities Ministry
Valentine Banquet:
  • Sunday, February 12th, at 6:15pm in the CLC.
  • Tickets are $9 for adults and $3 for children.
  • On sale Sundays and Wednesdays in the Worship Center Lobby.
  • Entertainment will be provided by Steve Brogan, ventriloquist.
Florida Trip to Walt Disney World Resorts:
  • April 9-12.

  • Registration deadline is March 11th.
Fall New England/Canada Cruise:
  • September 6-14. Call Jimmy if interested.

Volunteers Needed for Joyner Elementary:
  • Proctors are needed for testing on February 15th-March 9th from 8:30-10am.
  • Call Miriam Palma 460-4436 if you can help.
Personal Care Items Needed:
  • For Urban Ministry now until Sunday, February 12th.
  • Items needed are: combs, razors, dental floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, soap, conditioner, lotion, hand sanitizer, body wash, shaving cream, and tissues. Drop off your donation at the Collection Area on the first floor.
Save the Date - 100th Anniversary of Titanic:
  • Bus Trip to Pigeon Forge May 11 & 12th
  • Visit the Titanic Museum, Dollywood, Parade & The Wonders of Magic Show.

Christian Book Collection:
  • RA's are collecting Bibles and other Christian teaching and reference books, new and used to donate for the State RA Race on March 21st.
  • If you have any of these types of books and would like to donate, please put them in the Collection Bin on the 1st floor.
