Class News

• Happy Birthday to Marc Holbrook, this Thursday, May 3rd!
• Women's Bible Study: Will begin meeting THIS Tuesday, May 1st at 6:45pm at Sarah Gardner's house (1906 Tennyson Drive, Greensboro/27410). We will meet every OTHER Tuesday and we will be doing the Beth Moore Study, "To Live is Christ." Click here to see which version of the study you will need. There is no homework for the first week of the study.
• Men's Bible Study: Will meet this Thursday, 6:30am, at the Chick-fil-A in the Brassfield Shopping Center.
• Class Lunch: Please plan to attend the Hot Dog Lunch in the CLC next Sunday, May 6th. All proceeds will go to help support the Won Generation as they travel to Cleveland, Ohio in June.

Children's Ministry

"Amazing Wonders" VBS 2012:

• June 25-29, 9am-12 noon.
• Rising Kindergarten through completed 8th grade.
• Registration has begun online, in the lobby and at the Children's Desk.

Married Adult Ministry

Homeschoolers Conference:

• The statewide homeschool conference is May 24-26 in Winston Salem.
• There is still time to register, go to http://www.nche.com/ for more details.

Worship & Music Ministry

Hot Dog Luncheon Sunday, May 6th:

• 11:30am-1:30pm.
• Take out available upon request.
• All donations are welcome!
• All proceeds will go directly for the Won Generation High School Choir Mission Trip in June to Cleveland, OH.

• Please be in prayer for the students during this week and for those that they will reach while serving in Cleveland.

Women's Ministry

She & Me Tea!

• Saturday, May 12th from 11am-1pm in the CLC.
• This is a lovely luncheon tea for all girls ages 5 and over.
• Tickets on sale this Sunday for $5 each.

• Grilled chicken enchiladas with Spanish style rice, refried beans, and fresh salsa OR Soup/Salad/Potato Bar.

National Day of Prayer

• Join us on Thursday, May 3rd in Room 217.
• A corporate time of prayer will begin at 12:15pm, but the room will be open from 12pm-5pm.
• Prayer guides will be available.

Teacher Appreciation Week

Election Day is Tuesday, May 8th

• Voting will be held at designated precincts from 6:30am-7:30pm

Operation Christmas Child May Collection

• Suggested Items: Sporting goods - deflated soccer or basketballs, baseballs, gloves, jump ropes, and Frisbees. Sports related clothing items - team t-shirts, gym shorts, baseball caps and jerseys.
• Please leave in the bin at the Collection Center on the 1st floor.
