HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
- Thanks David, for a great lesson this morning! The title of next week's lesson is Philip: Consistency. The background passage for the lesson is Acts 8:4-40. The lesson passages are Acts 8:4-13, 29-31, 35-38.

- July 13th: Please keep this date on your calendar! Our Life Journey Group will be sponsoring an 'outreach lunch' Sunday after church in the Fellowship Hall. This lunch will be for any and all married/engaged couples who are 20-29(ish). The church will begin advertising this event soon to let people know about it. We're praying God will use this event to reach out to other couples in our church that are in our age group and are not yet involved in a LJG. The sign up sheet will be posted soon!

Preschool/Children
Outrigger Island Summer Wednesdays: Beginning June 25, 6:15-7:15 pm for babies - grade 5 in the children's suite. Our VBS teachers will continue the fun and learning of VBS.
Students
Scholarships: Scholarships are needed for the upcoming summer camps and mission trip. If you can help financially, please designate the finds "Youth Scholarship" on the memo and place in the offering plate or turn in to the church office.
Married Adults
Operation Outreach: July 13th at 4 pm in room 216.
Marriage 301 (Partnership for the Journey): Saturday, July 19 from 9 am - Noon in the Chapel. Learn to better understand how to work together as a team.
Activities
Church-wide Picnic: Sunday, July 6 at Bur-Mil Park. Activities begin at 3:30 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and the pool will be open from 7-9 pm. Church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, chips and condiments. We are asking that you bring a side dish or dessert. Please also bring drinks for your family only, including any cups and ice that you may need. The church will not be providing these.
Upward Flag Football: Coaches are referees are needed for the season beginning July 28th. Please contact Patty Ghering at 288-3824 if you are able to help!
Women's Enrichment Ministry
MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers has begun registering for next fall. There are limited spots available, so if you would like to join other moms on the third Tuesday morning of every month from September to May, please call Kyra Houser, coordinator at 288-8488 or j.houser@earthlink.net.
