Chip (coordinator of the Walking Together Class... the one our class split off from) asked if we would consider helping out this family in need. For those of you who know Toni and Lori Wall (Walking Together Class), the husband of this family in need is Toni's brother. If you would like to help, but do not know who Ryan & Chip are, please feel free to give any contributions to me and/or Matt and we will get everything to Ryan & Chip.

- There will be a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 4pm & 11pm on December 24.

Activities
Upward Basketball/Cheerleading: Coaches are needed for 1st-4th grade, and officials are needed for all divisions. Call Jimmy at 288-3824, ext. 315 if interested. Games begin the weekend of January 9, and continue through February.
2009 Valentine Banquet: Our annual Valentine Banquet will be held on Sunday evening, February 8. Tickets will go on sale in the worship center lobby on Sunday, January 4. The entertainer will be Charles Marshall, a Christian comedian. You can watch his videos by searching for him on YouTube.

Pre-parenting Seminars: Please register with Jennifer at 288-3824 at least a week before the event. If childcare is needed, please indicate the child's name and age.
- Pre-parenting Seminar, "Before the Journey Begins": January 17 from 9am - Noon. An overview of what parents should expect from the preschool years to adulthood.

Operation Outreach: January 4 at 4 pm.
Marriage Class: The Love Dare, a 10 week class in connection with the movie "Fireproof" will be offered on Sunday evenings at 5 pm beginning January 11.

- The 2009 Spring Semester of Life Plus will begin on Sunday, January 11 at 5pm. Stop by the Life Plus tables in the lobby on Sunday, December 28 and register for the class that interests you!
