Class News
- Thanks Jeremy, for another great lesson this morning! The title of next week's lesson is What Hope Do You Have? The background passage for next week is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The lesson passage for next week is also 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Promoter/Church News
- The 2009 Spring semester of LifePlus will begin on Sunday, January 11 at 5pm. Stop by the table in the Lobby TODAY and register for the class that interests you.
- Operation Outreach: TODAY at 4 pm.
- Flower Calendar for 2009: The Flower Calendar for the New Year has been posted. You can sign up to provide Sunday flowers for the Worship Center or Central Lobby in memory or honor of someone or a special event. The flowers may be taken home after the Sunday evening service. Arrangements can be provided at a cost of $75, $100 or $125. Sign up now to get the date of your choice.
- A note from the office... If you have decided to use your cell phone as your primary phone and do not have a home phone number anymore, please let the church office know so our records can be updated and accurate. Activities
Upward Basketball/Cheerleading: Coaches are needed for 1st-4th grade, and officials are needed for all divisions. Call Jimmy at 288-3824, ext. 315 if interested. Games begin the weekend of January 9, and continue through February.
2009 Valentine Banquet: Our annual Valentine Banquet will be held on Sunday evening, February 8. Tickets will go on sale in the worship center lobby on Sunday, January 4. The entertainer will be Charles Marshall, a Christian comedian. You can watch his videos by searching for him on YouTube.
Married Adults
Parenting Seminars: Please register with Jennifer at 288-3824 at least a week before the event. If childcare is needed, please indicate the child's name and age.
- Pre-parenting Seminar, "Before the Journey Begins": January 17 from 9 am - Noon. An overview of what parents should expect form the preschool years to adulthood.
- Parenting 101, The Journey with Preschoolers (ages birth - 4): February 21.
Marriage Class: The Love Dare, a 10 week class in connection with the movie "Fireproof," will be offered on Sunday evenings at 5 pm beginning January 11.
