- The title of next week's lesson is It's All About God's Plan. The background passage for the lesson is Romans 9:1-11:36. The lesson passages for Sunday are Romans 10:1-4, 8b-18a; 11:28-32. Before Sunday, please take a moment to prayerfully read through the passage to prepare for the lesson.
- Men's Bible Study: Will meet this Thursday, October 20th, 6:30am, at the Chick-fil-A in the Brassfield Shopping Center. All men are welcome.
- October 29th: Class Costume Party! Come dressed to impess and bring a spooky snack or dessert to share. Bring the kids! There will be a prize awarded for best costume. Party will be at 7pm at Billy and Priscilla's house: 3303 Cheswick Court.
- October 31st: Fall Spectacular (more details in LBC News). Our LJG still needs 2 more people (one couple) to work the 5pm-7pm shift of Putt-Putt Skee Ball. If you can help, please e-mail Melissa.
- This Sunday, the church will be collecting 14 ounce cans of jellied cranberry sauce for Feeding the 5000. If you missed the opportunity to donate $20 for a turkey and a pie, you will be able to do that this Sunday as well.

Student Ministry
411 Has Resumed: Sundays at 6:15pm. Middle School meets in Room 363 and High School meets in the Chapel.
Activities Ministry
Fall Spectacular: Monday, October 31st, 5:30-9:00pm. We are still collecting candy; containers are located in the collection area on the first level of the church.
Children's Ministry
Operation Christmas Child Boxes: Information brochures are available in the main lobby. All boxes need to be returned by November 13th.
Married Adult Ministry
Homeschool Support Group: Next meeting will be Thursday, October 20th in the Fellowship Hall. Eta Zeta, the honor society for local homeschoolers, will have a membership meeting from 6:20-6:50pm, then the speaker, Elizabeth Lamb will begin at 7pm.
Weekend to Remember: October 28-30th. Go to http://www.familylife.com/ to register for this annual marriage event held at the Koury Convention Center. When registering, use Lawndale Baptist as your group code to get a discounted rate.

Christmas Production: iBelieve Saturday, December 10th at 2 & 6pm and Sunday, December 11th at 4pm. Tickets are $5 and Premium Seating will be $7.

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night for Operation Christmas Child: Thursday, November 17th @ the Chick-Fil-A on Pisgah Church Road and Thursday, November 17, 5-8pm. Drop off your receipt in the collection box to earn a percentage of the sales to benefit Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas Child - Year Long Collection - October Items: Hygiene items, all ages, boys and girls. Suggestions: tooth brushes, dental floss, chap stick, tooth paste, bar soap, magic towels, hair brushes, combs, barrettes, hair ornaments. Did you know? The recipient of each box is offered a gospel booklet. The Greatest Gift of All, printed in his own language or native dialect and his family is offered an opportunity for following up after reading it.
