Class News

• The title of this Sunday's lesson is Risk. The background passage is Judges 6:1-8:21. The lesson passages are Judges 6:11-16; 7:9-11, 13-15. Before Sunday, please take a moment to prayerfully read through the passages to prepare for the lesson.
• Congratulations to Scott, Julia, and big brothers Nicholas & Charlie on the birth of Lincoln Nathaniel Toth. Born Tuesday, July 17th at 7:45am, weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches long.

• Happy Birthday to Rob Jones on Monday, July 16th!
• Happy Anniversary to Tim & Lindsay on Monday, July 16th!
• Happy Birthday to Adam Gardner on Wednesday, July 18th!

Activities Ministry

Baseball Trip to Atlanta:

• August 4-5 to see the Houston Astros vs. the Atlanta Braves.
• Cost is $32 plus hotel and food.
• See Jimmy to register.

Family Tubing Trip:

• August 25th at Zaloo's Canoes in Jefferson, NC.
• Cost is $15 for adults, $11 for children.
• Payment due in full by August 15th.

Co-Ed Softball:

• Registration has begun. Call Jimmy in the office or email: jjackson@lawndalebaptist.org if you are interested.

Married Adult Ministry

The Resolution for Men:

• The next class will begin Wednesday, August 15th from 6:30-7:30pm.
• We will meet 7 consecutive Wednesday nights.

Additional Announcements

Toiletry Items for Urban Ministry:

• The Singles are collecting toiletry items for this ministry in June and July.
• Please bring items to the 1st floor collection area or to the White House.

Quarterly Business Meeting:

• The next meeting will be Sunday, July 22nd following the evening service.

Boone Mission Trip:

• August 13-17
• Cost is $135/person and includes transportation and room and board.
• Projects include painting, yard work, and home repair.
• Information meeting will be Wednesday, August 1st at 7:30pm in Room 262.

Discipleship LifePlus Classes:

• If you would like to facilitate a class for the fall semester of LifePlus, fill out a registration form in your LJG or in the office.
• Registration forms and syllabus need to be turned in to Curt Dean, Aaron Woody, or the church office by Sunday, August 12th.
