- Women's Bible Study: Due to inclement weather, the Bible Study will not meet tomorrow, March 2nd. The video we would have watched tomorrow will be viewed the following Monday, March 9th.
- Men's Bible Study: Will meet this Friday, February 27th at 6:30am at the Chick-fil-A on Guilford College Road. Rodney will continue the 4 week study on "The Role of a Christian Man."

- March 22: On Sunday, March 22nd, our Life Journey Group will meet in the chapel to hear Glenn and Rhonda Stewart (Donna Navey's sister and brother-in-law). Glenn and Rhonda will be sharing their experiences as missionaries in India. Please be sure to arrive at 9:15 to allow the Stewarts plenty of time to speak.
- May 15-17: Girl's Weekend! We will be going to Melissa's parent's cabin, right outside of Boone. All ladies are welcome. More details coming soon!

Children
VBS 2009: This year's theme is LifeWay's "Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus" (1 John 4:9). We will visit the "Land Down Under," Australia, and discover the vastness of God's love. We will learn that no matter where we go or what we do in life, it all comes back to Jesus.
- 4 year olds through completed 5th graders will meet Monday-Friday, June 22nd-26th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
- Completed 6th through 8th graders will meet Monday-Wednesday, June 22nd-24th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Registration opens Sunday, April 5th and closes on Sunday, June 14th. Registration forms will be available at the Children's Welcome Desk, Worship Center Lobby, VBS booth, and church office.
Parent/Child Dedication: March 15th during both AM services. Informational letters have been mailed to those who we know have a baby. Information is due back in the church office by Friday, March 6th. If you have not received a letter and would like to participate, please contact Carol McKinney in the church office at 288-3824 ASAP.
Activities
Upward Soccer: Registration brochures are now available. You can find them outside Jimmy Jackson's office or in several locations around the church. Brochures have been mailed to all 4 year olds through 6th graders. If you have questions, please contact Jimmy in the church office at 288-3824.
Married Adults
Marriage & Parenting Seminars: Please register with Jennifer Wilson at 288-3824 at least a week before the event. If childcare is needed, please indicate the child's name and age.
- Pre-marriage: Begins on Wednesday, March 4th from 7:00pm - 8:00pm meeting in Room 217. This is a 7 week class.
- Marriage 101- Basic Principles for Marriage: March 28th from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Please note the date change.
- Parenting 201- The Journey with Children (Ages 5-10): April 25th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
