- Women's Bible Study: Will meet tomorrow, March 30th at 6:30 at Donna Navey's House. Donna's address is: 3809 O'Brient Place GSO, NC. (Donna lives in the Cardinal. If you are coming from the Old Oak Ridge side, you will turn on Muirfield and O'Brient will be on your left. If you are coming from the Fleming side, you will turn on Muirfield and O'Brient will be on your right.) This will be the final session of our Beth Moore study.

Children
Upcoming Class for Parents- "Will Your Child Have Faith?": Sunday, April 19th, 4:00-7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. This practical workshop is for parents of preschooler and young elementary children. Janice Haywood, a Preschool and Children's Ministry specialist, will lead this class. A snack supper and childcare will be provided. Register with Jennifer in the office at 288-3824 or jlwilson@lawndalebaptist.org. Registration deadline is Friday, April 10th by 1:00pm.
VBS 2009: This year's theme is LifeWay's "Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus" (1 John 4:9).
- 4 year olds through completed 5th graders will meet Monday-Friday, June 22nd-26th from 9:00am-12:00pm.
- Completed 6th through 8th graders will meet Monday-Wednesday, June 22nd-24th from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Registration opens Sunday, April 5th and closes on Sunday, June 14th. Registration forms will be available at the Children's Welcome Desk, Worship Center Lobby, VBS booth, and church office.
Married Adults
Marriage & Parenting Seminars: Please register with Jennifer Wilson at 288-3824 at least a week before the event. If childcare is needed, please indicate the child's name and age.
- Parenting 201- The Journey With Children (Ages 5-10): April 25th from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Activities
Golf Tournament: The cost is $35. Anyone interested should register no later than May 24 with your $35 fee. Contact Jimmy for details.
Take Me Out to the Ball Game: June 12th-14th. Spend an incredible weekend in Baltimore, Maryland and enjoy a baseball game at Camden Yards between the Baltimore Orioles and the Atlanta Braves. The cost is $175 per person for adults and $50 per person for children. Space is limited so register early. Registration deadline is Sunday, May 10th, with a $25 per person deposit. Easter Lilies
Place your order now for an Easter Lily to be placed in the Worship Center on Easter Sunday, April 12. Lilies can be placed in memory or in honor of a special loved one. Lilies are $12 each and can be taken home after the second service. Special seasonal flower envelopes are available at the various welcome desks and in the church office. Orders must be placed by Noon on Monday, April 6.
Easter Sunrise Service
We will have a Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, April 12th at 6:30am at Country Park. Afterwards, at 7:15am, breakfast will be served in the CLC. In case of rain, the sunrise service will be held in the Chapel. The regular schedule will be in effect for both AM services and LJG's. There will be no afternoon or evening activities on Easter Sunday.
WMU - Women on Mission
The WMU invites the church family to join with them again this year in collecting can foods for the Baptist Children's Homes. The BCH appreciates all size cans, but prefers family sizes. Gift cards are greatly appreciated to buy perishables and items not received. Gift cards may be purchased at Food Lion, Wal-Mart, Sams Club, and Lowe's Food. A collection box will be located on the 2nd floor near the elevator. Items will be picked up each Sunday and on Wednesday night. Collection dates are Today-Wednesday, April 15th. Thank you for your support.
Weekday Preschool
The Children's Learning Center still has a few openings for the 2009-2010 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please contact Ann Johnson at 282-4177 for more information.
